Monday, March 18, 2002 11:08 p.m. I've officially moved! :) Everyone, please change your links to http://firetigeress.sigh.org/frostedsugar/. Many thanks to Melz, the wonderful person who's hosting me. ^_^ *still wondering what to do with this pitas account* Monday, March 4, 2002 06:01 p.m. AHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!! I am currently in an insanely happy mood. XDXDXD. *sparkles madly*
Went out with Ri-chan yesterday to Kino yesterday, and guess what they had? Pretear manga!!!! In Chinese!!! *Shimmery bubbles and glittery flowers fall in the background, ala shoujo manga style. ^_~* And that's not all! They also had Fruits Basket 8!!!! Ahhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!! *Does the And! And! I watched episode 23 of Angelic Layer and it was soooooo good! Everyone paired up the way I wanted them to! And did I ever tell you I love Mihara Oujirou? *_* I'm so happy I can actually bear to wait before I can (hopefully) get the rest of Pretear and Angelic Layer. XD And yes, I KNOW this entry is sprinkled with too many exclamation marks, but what the heck! I'm HAPPY! XDXDXD Oh yes, and btw, Aki (Or do I call you Kiki now? ^_^;;)... I should be able to give you those Angelic Layer eps by tomorrow. If not, latest by the day after. And can I please, please, PLEASE borrow the manga from you? *bambi eyes* Pretty please? Onegai? (<------ Is aware that she just said she could wait patiently, but is now doing something totally opposite. [Oh, what the heck.]) And, to sum this entire entry up... XD Saturday, March 2, 2002 10:24 p.m. Gahhhh. WHY does my computer keep refusing to show the updated versions of people's blogs? I even tried emptying my Temporary Internet files folder but it still doesn't work. >_< *Resists the urge to wave her chopper around madly* But that's not what I wanted to blab about. I've got some great news! ^_^ Thanks to an extremely nice person who agreed to host me, my blog's going to be moving soon. ^_________^ That way I'll FINALLY be able to use some pictures on my blog, instead of having all these broken images scattered all over the place. (Needless to say, I am VERY happy right now. XD) I'll be posting the new url once I finish installing Greymatter. In the meantime, you can always go visit Melz's site and tell her how wonderful she is. ^_^ Oh, and as a sidenote, I was (re)watching episode 39 of Fushigi Yuugi today (I taped it), and had a horrible idea - if done properly, one could actually write a Tomo x Miaka fanfic. 0_o You know, a cheesy one where Tomo's 'other self', Aono, really falls in love with Miaka, and since Tomo's 'other selves' ARE him... No, rest assured, I won't write it. :) It's just one of those weird ideas that just pop up in your head all of a sudden... Monday, February 25, 2002 06:13 p.m. I would like to KILL the idiotic person who wrote on the board the message that we had to pass up the A-maths matrices worksheet when we in fact didn't have too. I stayed up all night yesterday doing the stupid thing instead of studying my Chem and Chinese properly. Argh. >_< Ph, and as a sidenote, thanks bunches, Ri-chan. Even though we didn't need it in the end, I still would have probably died of a heartattack without you. :) Oh, and I hit my finger against the side of the table yesterday night. Nearly panicked since I thought I fractured it or something (Those of you who know about a certain incident that occured to me would know why I'm so paranoid. -_-). It seems to be okay now, though, so I think it's just a bruise. But my dad 'reiki'ed it yesterday anyway to be sure. ^_^ Now for some fun with referrals...
Don't think you'll find any here. You CAN try joining the FruityGroup ML... there's tons of members there who wouldn't hesitate to give you all the spoilers you need. :) I just LOVE having a tracker. XD Thursday, February 21, 2002 07:50 p.m. Got my Virtue files back! *cheers* Monday, February 18, 2002 04:40 p.m. Well, partially good news regarding the Virtue and Envy thing. Good news is, Envy allows you to get your files back via ftp. (By the way, it seems the reason why Virtue and Envy "died" is because they originally wanted to shut down, but 0catch offered to take over. You can always visit the sites to find out more.) Bad news is, Virtue doesn't, AND that's where I stored all my blog stuff. >_< But it could be worse. For one, I have my blog archives backed up on my hard drive. For another, Virtue most likely will be setting up another ftp to download our files back from. (Note the "most likely". It MIGHT not happen, but most probably will, especially since Virtue and Envy are sister sites) Don't worry, Ri-chan, you'll most likely get your files back! :) So see? The people at Envy and Virtue aren't that 'evil' after all. ^_^ Sunday, February 17, 2002 08:18 p.m. Whee. My Envy AND Virtue accounts hve BOTH been deleted. ... *Is feeling extremely homicidal right now* (BTW, anyone know of any other good free webhosts out there? Need to find one soon or my blog will continue looking as icky as it does now. >_<) Saturday, February 9, 2002 09:09 p.m. ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!! THERE'S A SQUASHED LIZARD HANGING FROM MY WINDOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I think it got squished when I unknowingly closed the window and now not only do I feel guilty since it was probably me who killed it, (Even though I HATE lizards), it's all compressed and yucky and icky and everything!!!!!!!!!! Yurkle! *Runs off screaming* Note: I WAS going to change my layout, then add a much longer entry, but I'm definitely NOT in the mood to do so now. Maybe later. And I know I'm being childish, but I HATE lizards. And dead ones are even WORSE, especially when it's ME who finds them. And what is wrong with me? Why do I keep finding dead lizards in the weirdest places!? >_< Friday, January 25, 2002 12:00 a.m. Had a pretty sucky day at school today - two mucked up practicals (Chem and Physics) and a Chinese test which I don't think I'll do very well for. Oh, and it rained the whole day, but since I like rain... (As long as I'm not standing in the middle of a cloudburst, that is. ^_^) Cyberfair was pretty okay today, especially since the tech team was there to help me out. Especially Ri-chan - I really DO think she would make a more efficient Projects Manager than me. Like Xiaoli noted, I don't really have the guts to scold people. :) Anyway, at least the Sec Ones know what to do, and have agreed to go discuss stuff with the Sec Twos and Threes who couldn't attend today. I wouldn't call it GREAT, but it certainly is an improvement . :) Oh, and I had A-maths tuition today. My tuition teacher has asked me to go start doing sums in the textbook and TYS, (Until I've finished all of them. 0_o) which is a good thing, since I wouldn't be doing work on my own otherwise, but then he said that he thinks if I finish practicing all those sums, I'll be able to get full marks for the upcoming test. 0_o;;;;;;;;; *convulses* (Those of you who know me know that it's my goal in life to be able to PASS A-maths. I bet Ri-chan's laughing now. :p) His expectations are even worse/higher than my Chinese tutor, who wants me to get at least an A2 for the O'levels. *faints* Stress, stress, stress! ^_^ Oh, and I REALLY need to go put up the gorgeous layout Kae made for me. I keep putting it off. >_< Thursday, January 17, 2002 09:11 p.m. Cyberfair is not going well. >_< After the tech team left (Which consists of ALL the sec 4s EXCEPT me. >_<), I had to talk to the sec 1s and 2s ALONE to get them to come up with some of the categories they have to do research for. (Anyone who knows me knows that I absolutely HATE standing in front of big groups of people and talking.) And I have now finally realised what it feels like to be a teacher in a class where absolutely NO ONE wants to respond, and why they get so irritated. *sigh*
Oh well, I guess it could be worse - there are at least three to five other girls who contributed quite a bit, even though they do spend most of their time joking around, both a good and bad thing. The other girls I had to practically scream at before they would contribute - in fact, I DID have to spend most of the time talking in a rather loud voice. I think I'm going to have to bring a water bottle next time. At least with the other sec 4s, they have no qualms about speaking up in front of me, AND they come up with a lot of suggestions that really help me out. (Not to mention I can always Ugh. I really don't think I'm cut out for this. What on EARTH posessed Miss Miao and Mrs Neoh to make me Projects Manager? Not only am I a wimp when it comes to speaking in front of people (Among other things. ^_^;;), I'm WAY too hot-tempered and get irritated too easily. I'll probably screw up everything and not be able to get the girls moving and we'll never be able to finish this stupid project and THEN the teachers are going to kill me. I forsee that death by Mrs Neoh's infamous voice is not going to be what I call pleasant. *groans* But then I really shouldn't complain too much. I'm not the only one having problems. Kae-chan had a hard time today trying to teach the tech team how to use Photoshop, since most of them wouldn't really respond either. (And here Ri-chan pops up and says "I responded!" ^_^) And Tina needs to learn how to be firm with the girls as well - she's too sweet and shy to shout at them to listen to her. (I really think this whole thing's having a negative effect on me - I'm starting to sound like a TEACHER, for goodness' sakes! Oh, the horrors! :p) I really hope we'll be able to get this thing running properly. I think maybe next meeting I shall be REALLY evil and ask every girl to come up and do a presentation on what they've researched so far. Not only will I be able to take a short break from having to speak in front of everybody (A major plus), that way I'll also be able to see how much work everyone has done. I have a feeling this idea won't be too popular with the lower sec girls, but I'm seriously getting sick of having to plead with them to talk. At the very least, if this whole project fails, I can always tell Miss Miao "I TOLD you I wouldn't make a good projects Manager." >_< Tuesday, January 15, 2002 08:20 p.m. Ahhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!! I just finished watching Pretear and it was SO GOOD!!!!!!! *Has a feeling she will continue sparkling for the rest of the night* Be warned... spoilers for the end of pretear ahead... (This especially goes out to YOU, Ri-chan! No reading this until I lend those eps to you! :p)
S
Although I really couldn't stand Takako at first, in the end I really came to like her. I used to think Himeno and Sasame might make a good couple, but after finishing the series I'm all for Himeno x Hayate and Takako x Sasame. ^_^ And everyone got their happy ending in the end - well, except Tanaka. ^_^;;;;;; Oh, and I also noticed that they actually showed the dress Himeno would wear if she actually preteared with Shin - the first and only time it's shown in the anime, if I'm not wrong. I wonder why they couldn't show her pretearing with Shin at least once? She pretears the most with Hayate, and I know some of her outfits were shown at least twice. (Kei's and Mannen's, I think. I may be wrong, though.) AND it's a nice dress. Oh well. *shrugs* Sunday, January 13, 2002 10:06 p.m. Have not felt like adding new entries lately, as I'm sure is obvious to those (very few) people who visit my blog regularly. And I need to go reply to my mail too, and I really SUCK as writing e-mails. Blehh. >_< Anyway, this blog entry isn't really much - just to tell everyone I'm not dead. It's also to gush about this great online manga I've been reading that can be found at Cozy Paper. The art is SO gorgeous - I'd die if I could draw like that. *_* And I love the character designs... Yuushin's really good looking, but he can't hold a candle to Zenka, who practically screams of the word "Bishounen". *_* Remember to bring lots of tissues when you go to that site to wipe up all the drool, ladies. *grin* And the female character designs are really good too - I think Ayan's really pretty. :)
*Sigh* Have to go and do some tuition homework for a subject I absolutely LOATHE and will continue to do so until the end of time - A-maths. It exists for no other purpose than to make you scream until you feel like ripping the paper into itsy-bitsy, teeny-weeny, Tuesday, January 1, 2002 09:35 p.m. I haven't added a new entry in what, 11 days? Haven't felt like blogging lately, for some reason. -_- It's not like I usually have anything interesting to say anyway. Oh, that reminds me - Lynn-chan, why didn't you tell me you had a blog? I didn't know about it until I was checking my referrers. (Did I ever mention that I love having a tracker? I believe I have. ^_^) Arigatou for linking back! *beams* I'm quite surprised people actually bother to read my boring, shallow little entries. ^_^;;;; Hope you don't mind if I link you back? Oh, and Kae-chan, thanks very much for the Christmas card! Sorry I didn't give you one, but my family doesn't really celebrate Christmas. ^_^;;; (Our tree's so pathetically scrawny that we didn't bother to put it up ever since we moved in to my new house last year. ^_^) And btw, what does it say in Japanese? I can make out the "Kurisumasu", but what's the other word? I can't remember... I think it started with an "o"? Is it kinda like a "Merry Christmas" or something? (Oh, and someone really should scold you about the number of times you keep changing blogs. *laughs*) Thanks to Ri-chan who gave me a makeshift card. And don't worry if it wasn't a real card - it IS the thought that counts after all. (Ha! I should be one to talk. >_<) And also to Daphne and Diana for giving me a card AND a gift (Which of course succeeded in making me feel like a grinch since I didn't give anybody anything. ^_^) I don't think they even READ this blog, but hey, you never know. :) Anyway, will blog more tomorrow. I REALLY need to go do something about my archived entries. That's one thing I hate about pitas - it never lets you edit its archives. *sighs* Maybe I'll change my archive to the way most people do it - by layout. That way I don't have to keep creating new layouts every time. (Which I was stupid and bored enough to do last time, but which is getting me very fed up right now. ^_^) *Trots off to go pack for school tomorrow - even though she won't really be bringing anything. It IS going to be the first day of school, after all. ^_^* Friday, December 21, 2001 04:37 p.m. AHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!! Kae-chan!!!!!!!! I love it! Love love love love LOVE it!!!!!!!! *Goes off in spasms of delight* And this comes from the person who thinks she's lousy at making layouts? I think not. :p Anyway, I feeling too lazy to upload it right now, plus the fact that the Noin layout ahsn't been up for that long yet, so i think I'll put it up next time. You don't mind, do you? *crosses her fingers and hopes the answer is yes* Must remind me to lend you those eps of FB as repayment when school reopens. ^_^ Oh yes, that reminds me - Aki-chan, you read Angelic Layer, right? Want me to lend you some eps of the anime? And I must remember to call Ri-chan to ask her if she wants me to lend her anything tomorrow. (Is your computer fixed? That's what I guessed from Kae-chan's blog entry, since my stoopid computer can't load your blog. >_<) Oh, and having a tracker is sooooo much fun! ESPCIALLY the referrers - I nearly died laughing when I saw this and this. This is bad news for me... very bad... XD
